It’s to celebrate the all-new Jetta from Volkswagen, and with me is Michelle Bentley from Riverside.

Thanks so much for joining me. You just got back from a test drive.  And, I saw you in there kind of tinkering with all the buttons and switches.

Tell me what you thought about the drive.

Riverside’s Michelle Bentley’s 2019 VW Jetta Review

Michelle: Yeah, I really like the car a lot.

It has a lot of nice features that they just added.  Because, I have an older Jetta, a GLI.  The features they have on the 2019 is like night and day.

Because they added so much technology and so much… It’s so much prettier too, you know?

“Usually, you have to pay a lot more to get nice headlights, but not for the new Jetta, which is really awesome.”

Just the interior, like Apple CarPlay and the ambient lighting. Even the headlights, because not every Jetta comes with nice headlights.  But these ones do and it’s awesome.

Usually, you have to pay a lot more to get nice headlights, but not for the new Jetta, which is really awesome.

I have a GLI, so it has nice headlights, but those are a lot more expensive than a regular Jetta, you know?

Tom: Sure. You think it’s pretty.

Michelle: It is! I mean, like-

Tom: It is a pretty car, I agree.

Michelle: It has really nice lines.

Jetta Real-Driver Review Volkswagen Credibility

Tom: Yeah, it does. It absolutely does. I can tell you’re a car-girl.

Michelle: Yeah. I love cars.

I have an older GTI too, a Mark IV, so it’s like a 2003.

“I love cars. I have an older GTI too, a Mark IV, so it’s like a 2003.”

Tom: Where’s the VW tat?

Michelle: I know, I don’t have one. I don’t have any.

Tom: Well, you know what? We do something on the iDriveSoCal podcast where we do vehicle reviews, and I think you might be a good candidate for this one.

Michelle: Okay.

Tom: Because when we do the vehicle reviews, we talk about them. We talk about the inside, we talk about the outside.

Jetta Real-Driver Review Top-3 Features

We talk about technology and innovation. You’ve kind of covered all that already, but then we also throw it down and get specific.

What are your top three things?

Michelle: My favorite things about the car?

“I like the headlights too, they’re really nice. The taillights as well so just the all-around lighting on the car.”

Tom: Yeah, so Michelle from Riverside, what are your top three things about the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta?

I like the sunroof a lot, because it’s huge. It’s really big, it’s the biggest one I’ve seen on a sedan anyways.

I like the headlights too, they’re really nice. The taillights as well so just the all-around lighting on the car.
