The Antique Nationals Drag Race and Car Show burns rubber into its 50th Annual event!

Since 1970 the automotive extravaganza has taken place.  And it’s focused on Pre-1959 cars, trucks, and motorcycles.  That is for the race portion of the fun.

But the car show loosens up the entry allowance.  Because it’s open to pre-1974 hot rods and custom vehicles and motorbikes.

And with the setting being Irwindale Speedway you know the organizers know what they’re doing.

Plus speaking of the organizers, it’s put on by the Four Ever Four Club.  The group is dedicated to early Ford four-cylinder vehicles.

And, the countless younger Southern California car club organizers should take note.  Because Four Ever Four was founded in 1954!
