An event every week that begins at 6:00 am on Sunday, repeating indefinitely
Classic Cars And Coffee in Northridge is a solid purist event.
Specifically, I’m referencing two things; unlimited coffee refills courtesy of Western Bagel and, no daily drivers. At least none that I noticed in the official line-up. In fact, the group prefers pre-1980 classic cars.
So all the cars there were project cars. As expected, many of them were in various states of progress. But some were simply jaw-dropping with exquisite details.
Like the Firebird below. But also take a closer look at the wheel above. Notice the US Military logos and insignias at the base of each spoke. You have to appreciate, if not love that level of detail.
And the guys and gals there are super-friendly. Lots of lawn chairs circled around with various topics being discussed. As usual attendees were covering cars and politics extensively.
Finally, this is a ‘weather permitting event.’ Which makes sense considering some of the cars on display. But hey, it’s Southern California so sunshine is regularly all but guaranteed.
