An event every week that begins at 7:00 am on Saturday, repeating indefinitely
Crystal Cove Cars And Coffee is back!
And wow, it’s awesome. This C&C has got to be on your to-do list and soon. Because nobody really knows how long it will last.
Here’s why. Years ago, as detailed by Barry Meguiar, Crystal Cove C&C was one of the originals. Barry calls it the original. But the guys at Donut Derelicts might disagree.
Anyway, since then it’s been shut down more than once. In fact, when I was there Oct. 10th, 2020, I had a chat with the security guard. And he told me that in the two years he’s been on the job it’s been shut down and restarted.
So, he also stated that this new run has no official organizer. But that guys with sweet cars just show up and do their thing. And yes, the cars are sweet for sure.
While everything is represented there’s a heavy focus on exotics. Lots of Ferraris, Lambos, McLarens, and top-dollar Porsches.
I didn’t spot any project cars. But there was some old muscle, an original Cobra, and an immaculate woodie. So, really, the common thread for cars on display is m-o-n-e-y. There are loads of high-value rides on display.
Regardless, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Because that’s what car guys and gals are – good people.
