Donut Derelicts Cars And Coffee is the real deal.  Because my first time attending I arrived at 5:25 AM, thinking I’d be among the first to arrive.  No way.

By the time I got there, it was 100% happening.  There was a line for donuts.  Nearly all the prime parking spots were taken.  And it was still dark outside!

Perhaps, my History of Cars And Coffee podcast and post needs updating.  Because of the many super-friendly guys that I spoke with.   They’d been attending the event for as many as 36 years!

As for the cars on display.  It’s mostly hot rods, classics, and antiques.  And plenty of customs.  Plus there were a couple of antique motorcycles on display.

And when a new mid-engine Corvette rolled in.  That turned plenty of heads too.  This C&C event is a must-attend, at least once, for any automotive enthusiast.

It’s hoppin’ @ 5 AM!
