Grand National Roadster Show 2023! GNRS, “The Grand Daddy of them all!”
Rolling for 73 years. Once known as the Oakland Roadster Show, it is now the longest-running indoor car show in the world! Produced at the Fairplex in Pomona, it is in its 17th consecutive year.
Over 500 show vehicles will compete for awards inside the Fairplex buildings. Another 400-800 vehicles will join the event Saturday & Sunday for the 17th Annual Grand Daddy Drive-In.
Since the debut of the Grand National Roadster Show in 1950, its top-tier award has always been America’s Most Beautiful Roadster (AMBR). That changed in 2020, as the Al Slonaker Memorial Award — open to just about any four-wheeled vehicle that isn’t a roadster — features a new trophy and an increased payout of $12,500.
The Al Slonaker Memorial Award winner is chosen by a panel of judges, who grade each entry on originality, style, design, craftsmanship, engineering, and functionality.
And the Grand National Roadster Show’s $12,500 prize makes this the richest payout in hot-rodding.
