Hot Cakes And Hot Rods Cars And Coffee takes place at the Glory Days Sports Grill.

And to be clear, this particular Glory Days Sports Grill is in Lakewood, California.  So be careful not to confuse it with the other Glory Days that’s in Seal Beach which also has a weekly C&C event. (Also, a good one.)

I’ve been by this event a few times but always closer to the closing time and it’s been a little quiet at that point.  However, when I arrived just as it was getting going there were a number of really sweet custom cars on hand.

In fact, the strong morning sun in January made it tough to really capture the gorgeous paint jobs on the cars.  Finally, this event is put on by the Mercifuls Car Club.  But it certainly seems everyone and everything is welcome.

And like all C&C’s the group is very friendly and welcoming.
