La Palma Car Show and Swap meet is an annual Southern California car show focused on one brand.
It’s the largest Studebaker automotive meet-up in the United States. And it’s hosted by the Southern California Studebaker Drivers Club.
Specifically, the club’s acronym is BCOIE. And that’s a bit complicated. Because it serves the Beach Cities, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.
So the car show is held at Orange County’s La Palma Park in Anaheim. In fact, it’s the 48th anniversary of the event.
The focus on Studebakers might be your ‘thing’. But even if it’s not, or you’re not sure, this car show is worth checking out.
For instance, the history surrounding Studebaker is fascinating. Did you know the company started as a wagon maker? Yes, as in the type pulled by horses.
Also, Studebaker was founded in 1852 in Southbend Indiana. And it eventually became part of the Packard Motor Car Company.
So check out this slice of American history!
