The 2022 Lexus NX fills the gap between the mid-size RX SUV and the smaller UX crossover.

Engines And Transmissions
The base version of the 2022 Lexus NX is the 250 with its 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and 203-horsepower.
It, along with all of the other NX models with a normal gas-only engine uses an eight-speed automatic transmission. Finally, the NX 250 comes standard with a front-wheel-drive but all-wheel-drive is optional.
The NX 350 AWD and its F Sport sibling each use a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine that makes 275-horsepower. AWD is obviously standard. A hybrid version of the 350 is also available.
In this case, Lexus goes back to using the 2.5-liter found in the 250 but adds a little power for a total of 240 ponies. It, along with all other NX hybrids uses a continuously variable transmission.

Fuel Economy Ratings

Lexus has done a nice job of updating exactly what it needed to without losing its charm inside of the NX.
