Who They Are

Based in Glendora, California, Grace of Glendora Car Club is a road-focused group built around a simple idea: interesting cars are best enjoyed when they are actually driven. The club began in the spring of 2022, after a group from Glendora took a Saturday drive through Malibu and Ventura and came home with the feeling that they should do it again, only farther and for longer.

Since then, the club has grown into an open, welcoming community for enthusiasts who enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Rather than limiting membership to one make, era, or style, Grace of Glendora brings together classics, hot rods, sports cars, sport sedans, hot hatches, semi-exotics, and even a sporty truck or two.

What They Do

The club’s signature activity is its semi-annual weekend road tours, typically held in spring and fall. These two- or three-day trips explore Southern California and the desert Southwest, with past destinations including the Central Coast, Sequoia National Park, Sedona, Agua Caliente State Park, Las Vegas, Death Valley, and more.

The tours are free to join, with participants simply covering their own food and lodging. That gives the club a refreshing, low-pressure feel: it is less about formal membership rules and more about good roads, good cars, and good company.

Grace of Glendora also hosts a free annual Father’s Day Car Show at Grace Church of Glendora, open to any vehicle of interest. In addition, the club occasionally organizes meet-ups, day trips, cars and coffee outings, and museum tours.
