Mercedes-Benz Club of America - Orange County - Irvine, CA
Who They Are
The Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) Orange County Chapter is part of one of the nation’s longest-running organizations dedicated to the three-pointed star. While the national Mercedes-Benz Club of America was founded in 1956, the Orange County Chapter was established in 1968 and today serves enthusiasts throughout Orange County, the Inland Empire, and the Coachella Valley. It is one of roughly 100 MBCA chapters across the United States.
Open to owners and admirers of Mercedes-Benz vehicles from every generation, the chapter brings together members who share an appreciation for the brand’s engineering, design, and rich automotive heritage. Whether members own a meticulously preserved classic sedan, a modern AMG performance model, or the latest luxury SUV, the club provides opportunities to connect with fellow enthusiasts through driving, social events, and educational activities.
What They Do
The Orange County Chapter organizes a variety of events that encourage members to enjoy their vehicles beyond everyday driving. Scenic road trips, Cars and Coffee gatherings, and social events throughout the year allow members to experience Southern California’s diverse driving roads while building friendships within the local Mercedes-Benz community.
One of the chapter’s signature events is Stars and Coffee, held each year on the third Saturday of May at the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center. Now an established annual tradition, the event welcomes Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts to display vehicles from across the brand’s history, from vintage classics to contemporary performance and luxury models. The 2026 gathering marked the event’s third year, with the next edition already scheduled for May 15, 2027.
Beyond local activities, the club supports the broader mission of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America Educational Foundation, which helps preserve the marque’s history through initiatives such as scholarships at McPherson College and other educational grants. The Orange County Chapter is also exploring opportunities to establish recurring Cars and Coffee meetups as it continues expanding its calendar of member events.
