Who They Are

Founded in 1962, the Pomona Valley Corvette Association (PVCA) is among the longest-established Corvette clubs in the United States. Built around a clear mission, growing interest in the Chevrolet Corvette, fostering friendship among owners, sharing model-specific knowledge, encouraging safe driving, and creating an organized outlet for social events and community service, the club has maintained a steady presence through multiple Corvette generations. Today, PVCA reports a membership of about 160 people, reflecting both its longevity and continued relevance within Southern California’s Corvette community.

What They Do

PVCA’s activities emphasize what most Corvette owners enjoy most: driving and community. The club organizes destination runs, some as single-day drives, others as overnight excursions, giving members a reason to put miles on their cars in a social setting. Between drives, PVCA balances the calendar with social dinners, weekly breakfasts, and occasional automotive museum tours and shows, offering both casual and curated ways to connect.

The club also maintains a visible local footprint through participation in charity events, city parades, and school homecomings, while many members independently take part in local car shows. Although PVCA does not currently host its own annual car show or a formal Cars & Coffee series, members regularly attend those gatherings, often a practical approach for a club with a broad mix of schedules and interests.

Focuses

  • Chevrolet Corvettes of any generation or year
  • Destination runs (day trips and overnight drives)
  • Social gatherings: dinners and weekly breakfasts
  • Community involvement: charity events, city parades, school homecomings
  • Car culture participation: local car shows; regular attendance at Cars & Coffee events
  • Annual giving: support for a rotating selection of smaller charities and non-profits

How to Join & Get in Touch

PVCA is actively accepting new members. Prospective members are encouraged to visit the Events Calendar on the club website (PVCA.org) and attend meetings or events as a guest. To be considered for membership, candidates must attend at least three meetings and/or events. It’s also common to introduce yourself at any PVCA gathering, and members can share details and help guide the process.
