Who They Are

San Diego Minis, a vibrant and passionate community of Mini Cooper enthusiasts, traces its roots back to the 1980s. Over the decades, the club has grown into a strong, welcoming network for both vintage and modern Mini owners. With a focus on fostering camaraderie and a shared love for one of the most iconic British car brands, San Diego Minis provides a space for car lovers to connect, learn, and celebrate all things Mini.

The club brings together members who appreciate the engineering, design, and driving experience of the Mini Cooper. Whether you own a classic model or a newer version, San Diego Minis offers an inclusive environment for all Mini enthusiasts to enjoy.

What They Do

San Diego Minis offers a range of activities designed to bring members together and celebrate the love of Mini Coopers. The club hosts regular meetings where members can enjoy food, socialize, and discuss all things automotive. In addition to these gatherings, San Diego Minis participates in a variety of runs and British-themed events, which allow members to experience the joy of driving their Minis on scenic routes while bonding with fellow enthusiasts.

San Diego Minis also organizes regular Cars and Coffee meetups on the first Sunday of every month. In odd months, the meetups are held at Broken Yolk Restaurant (11630 Carmel Mountain Road, San Diego, CA 92128), starting at 8:30 am for a social gathering followed by the meeting at 9:00 am. During even months, the gathering takes place at the Model Boat Pond at Mission Bay Park (2800 Ingraham St, San Diego), where the club provides coffee and bagels, and members are encouraged to bring their own breakfast, chairs, and warm clothes for a relaxed and social experience.
