Who They Are

Based in Los Angeles, California, Southern California Cougar Car Club is a long-running enthusiast group dedicated to the first generations of Mercury’s stylish pony car. Founded in 1993 by Mike Brown, the club brings together owners and admirers of 1967-1973 Mercury Cougars, a model range that blends classic Ford performance roots with a more upscale, distinctive personality.

For Cougar fans, that focus gives the club a clear identity. These cars occupy a special corner of the classic American market: related to the Mustang, but with their own design language, details, and loyal following. Southern California Cougar Car Club gives owners a place to share knowledge, enjoy the cars, and keep these increasingly collectible models visible on local roads and show fields.

What They Do
