Ventura Raceway

Motorsports at the Fairgrounds date back to the early 1900s, when motorcycles first roared across its dirt paths. Over time, the venue evolved into a hub for racers and spectators alike:
–A 1/2-mile oval operated in the 1920s, followed by a 1/10-mile track in the 1970s.
–The current 1/5-mile oval opened in 1985, marking a new era for local and professional racing events.
–Over the years, motocross, figure 8 races, and motorcycle speedway events have added variety and excitement to the venue.
Signature Events
–Turkey Night Grand Prix: Since 2016, Ventura Raceway has hosted this legendary midget car event, drawing elite drivers from across the globe. Past winners include Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell.
