Bugs and Bros Car Meet | 2026 | San Pedro, CA
Bugs and Bros Tap Takeover is rolling into San Pedro with an afternoon dedicated to vintage air-cooled Volkswagens, good food, and waterfront vibes.
This one has the feel of a Volkswagen reunion more than a traditional car show. Vintage VW Buses, Beetles, Karmann Ghias, and other air-cooled classics are expected to fill the grounds, creating a lineup that celebrates one of the most recognizable corners of automotive culture. Between the music, food trucks, local brews, and shopping nearby, the event is designed to encourage people to stick around rather than simply walk the rows and head home.
Organized by Bus Bros Social Club, the gathering brings together Southern California's air-cooled VW community with awards for the Top 10 vehicles, swag bags for the first 50 entries, a raffle, and a 50/50 cash prize. DJs will keep the atmosphere moving throughout the afternoon, while organizers are also reserving featured spaces for standout buses. With spectators admitted free, the event keeps the focus on building a welcoming community around classic Volkswagens and the people who enjoy them.
Happening at CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, Los Angeles County, the venue gives the event a setting that stands apart from the average parking lot meet. Alongside the rows of vintage Volkswagens, visitors can explore local shops, enjoy some of the area's popular food trucks, and take advantage of the waterfront location.
