Cars and Crumpets Meet Up is rolling into Los Angeles as a new monthly British-car meetup on the Melrose corridor.
Attendees can expect a laid-back cars and coffee style morning that feels more like a neighborhood hangout than a formal show. The focus stays on classic British car conversation, quick walk-arounds, and comparing details you only notice when similar marques are parked side by side, wire wheels, bonnet lines, badges, period-correct touches, and the stories behind long-term ownership.
Organized by the Southern California MG Club, Cars and Crumpets is built as an all-British gathering, welcoming MG, Triumph, Austin-Healey, Jaguar, Lotus, Mini, and other UK marques. It’s hosted in partnership with Voodoo Doughnuts, and the shop is offering a meetup-day specialty donut called the “Triple Berry Burnout,” which fits the casual, coffee-and-cars rhythm of the event.
Happening at Voodoo Doughnuts, 7101 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046, on the corner of La Brea, this meet lands in West Hollywood area Los Angeles with easy access from the Fairfax, Hollywood, and Mid-City side of town. Parking is intentionally small and club-sized, with room for about 30 to 40 cars between the lot and nearby street parking, plus overflow options along Melrose and La Brea.
