Annual Flashback Classic Car Show is returning to Glendora for its 38th year!
There is a different energy when an entire downtown becomes part of the event instead of just serving as the backdrop. As the streets of Glendora Village fill with polished classics, hot rods, muscle cars, vintage trucks, and other enthusiast-owned vehicles, the evening takes on the feel of a community celebration as much as a car show. Between the rows of vehicles, live entertainment, and local businesses opening their doors to visitors, it's the kind of gathering where there's always something happening just around the next corner.
Organized by the Glendora Chamber of Commerce, this longtime tradition continues to bring together car owners and spectators from across Southern California. More than 250 vehicles are expected to take part in this year's show, while live music by The Answer, dancing, food vendors, beer, and wine help keep the festivities going throughout the evening. Registration remains open for anyone looking to display a vehicle, while spectator admission gives visitors the chance to enjoy one of the region's established annual automotive gatherings.
Happening at Glendora Village in Los Angeles County, the walkable downtown setting gives the show a character that's difficult to replicate in a traditional parking lot venue. Historic streets lined with restaurants, shops, and gathering spaces create a natural route for exploring the lineup at a relaxed pace, with everything from meticulously restored classics to custom builds and American muscle filling the village as the afternoon transitions into the evening.
Some car shows are remembered for the awards they hand out. Others are remembered for the atmosphere they create. After nearly four decades, the Annual Flashback Classic Car Show has become the kind of event where the cars may be the reason people come, but the experience of spending an evening in the heart of Glendora is what keeps many returning year after year.
