Gas & Glaze Cars and Coffee is rolling into La Puente as a weekly Saturday morning meet at Fresh Donuts.

Attendees can expect an easygoing, come-and-go atmosphere where the lineup changes week to week, but the vibe stays consistent. Grab a coffee and a donut, walk the lot, and catch up with local enthusiasts. It’s an all-types gathering, so you’ll see everything from clean daily drivers and classic cruisers to trucks, motorcycles, and project builds. On my visit, the “creations” category was very real. A retired auto mechanic named Ed rolled out a 100% homemade mini semi-tractor he built from the frame up, and he was genuinely happy to talk through how it came together.

Organized by Gas and Glaze Cars and Coffee, the meet has been part of the local scene since it started in March 2021. It’s run with a straightforward goal, build a regular community crowd and keep the space welcoming for anyone who wants to show what they drive, share what they’re building, or simply enjoy the cars without the pressure of a formal show setting.

Happening at Fresh Donuts, 560 Workman Mill Road, La Puente, CA 91746, this meet sits in a convenient pocket of the San Gabriel Valley, south of West Covina and north of Hacienda Heights. It isn’t immediately off the freeway grid, but it’s still an easy drive once you’re in the area. Because it’s a Cars and Coffee format, the variety is the main draw, cars, trucks, motorcycles, and the occasional unexpected fabrication project that becomes the morning’s unofficial centerpiece.

So, if you’re looking for a low-key Saturday stop with a rotating lineup and plenty of local conversation, Gas & Glaze is a solid one to keep on your radar, especially if you like spotting builds you won’t see everywhere.
