Mid Summer Showdown 3 is rolling into Redlands!
One of the fun parts about all-makes events is never knowing what's going to pull into the next parking space. A restored classic might end up parked beside a slammed import, while a supercharged Mustang shares the row with a lifted truck or a custom hot rod. That variety gives the show its personality. Add in music, food, games, vendors, trophies, and a 50/50 raffle, and there is plenty happening beyond the cars themselves without taking attention away from the vehicles.
Organized by Extreme Stangz, this marks the third edition of Mid Summer Showdown and continues a tradition built around community, charity, and Southern California car culture. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House, giving the event a purpose that reaches beyond the show field. It is always nice to see a gathering where enthusiasts can enjoy a day around cars while helping support families in the local community at the same time.
Set at Escape Craft Brewery's Downtown Oasis in Redlands, the venue provides a casual backdrop for an evening filled with classics, customs, muscle cars, trucks, imports, and modern performance builds. The show welcomes all makes and models, so chances are you'll find something that catches your eye no matter what kind of vehicles you gravitate toward. Organizers are also asking everyone to help keep the event enjoyable by respecting the venue and leaving the burnouts, excessive revving, and loud music at home.
The best local car shows are the ones where you arrive planning to stay an hour, then realize the afternoon slipped by because there was always another row to walk or another conversation waiting to happen. Mid Summer Showdown 3 has that kind of feel. Bring your camera, bring your friends, and enjoy a summer gathering where the cars, the people, and a good cause all come together.
