San Diego Association of Car Clubs Meet-Up returns with two remaining gatherings for the 2026 season!
There is something refreshing about a meetup where the focus isn’t on one club or one type of vehicle, but the community as a whole. Every gathering brings together a mix of classics, lowriders, muscle cars, trucks, imports, customs, motorcycles, and everything in between, creating an evening where every walk through the parking lot offers something different. With music, food, and conversations flowing just as naturally as the lineup of vehicles, the atmosphere is more about connecting with fellow enthusiasts than competing for awards.
Organized by the San Diego Association of Car Clubs, the meetup welcomes both established car clubs and individual owners, making it one of the more inclusive gatherings on the local calendar. Free awards, music, and food add to the evening while giving attendees a chance to reconnect with familiar faces and meet enthusiasts from across San Diego County. Since this is a limited seasonal series, only two meetups remain for 2026: August 4 at Big Kahuna’s in Imperial Beach and the final gathering on October 6 at Estrada’s Taco Shop in Santee. Those planning to attend should also check the organization’s official social media for any updates before heading out.
Happening at two different locations during the remainder of the season, each meetup offers its own setting while maintaining the same relaxed community atmosphere. The August gathering heads to Big Kahuna’s in Imperial Beach, while the season finale moves inland to Estrada’s Taco Shop in Santee, giving enthusiasts from different parts of the county an opportunity to participate. Regardless of the location, visitors can expect a diverse lineup of enthusiast-owned vehicles and a welcoming environment where the people behind the builds are just as much a part of the experience as the cars themselves.
Some meetups are built around a particular make or model. Others are built around the friendships that develop across the entire automotive community. By bringing together clubs and individual enthusiasts throughout the season, the San Diego Association of Car Clubs Meet-Up continues to provide an easygoing place where Southern California’s diverse car culture can come together one evening at a time.
