Car Cruise to the Coast | 2026 | Los Angeles, CA
Car Cruise to the Coast is bringing American classics together for a scenic drive that finishes along the Long Beach waterfront.
Please note: This is an actual cruise, not a stationary car show. Participants will depart from two separate starting locations at scheduled times before cruising together to Belmont Brewing Company in Long Beach. If you'd like to be part of the cruise itself, be sure to arrive at your chosen starting location before departure. Otherwise, you're welcome to meet everyone at the final destination.
Unlike a traditional car show where everyone meets in one place, this event is all about the drive. Participants will roll out from either Angels Point in Los Angeles or South OC Cars & Coffee in San Clemente, with both groups making their way toward Belmont Brewing Company overlooking the coast. The route is designed for cruising, giving drivers the chance to enjoy Southern California roads as part of the experience rather than simply driving to a destination. While the spotlight is on pre-1989 American classics and muscle cars, organizers also welcome other vintage vehicles to join the cruise, with American classics leading the procession for photography and media coverage.
Hosted by Whiskey and Wheels LA, the gathering emphasizes the shared experience of cruising as much as the destination itself. Timing matters here, as both starting groups depart promptly after their scheduled meetups, so anyone hoping to be part of the caravan should plan to arrive early. Organizers have also published turn-by-turn directions through their official channels, making it easier for participants joining from either Los Angeles or Orange County to stay with the group throughout the drive.
The cruise begins from Angels Point Road in Los Angeles and South OC Cars & Coffee at 101 W. Avenida Vista Hermosa in San Clemente, before converging at Belmont Brewing Company in Long Beach, Los Angeles County. Once everyone arrives, the event settles into a more relaxed pace with ocean views, parked classics, and lunch overlooking the waterfront. The combination of a coastal destination and the drive getting there gives this gathering a different feel from the average weekend meetup.
