Cruise At The Beach Car Show | 2026 | Redondo Beach, CA
Cruise At The Beach is bringing something back that used to be a regular part of Southern California car culture: getting behind the wheel, rolling out with friends, and actually cruising together instead of parking and calling it a day.
That distinction matters because this is not a traditional car show or cars and coffee. The cars are moving. The entire point is to enjoy the drive. Organizers are leaning into the cruising culture that once made places like Hermosa Beach and King Harbor legendary gathering spots for enthusiasts throughout the 1970s. For a lot of longtime gearheads, that is where some of the best memories were made. Not standing next to the cars, but driving them. Windows down, engines humming, and a line of classics, hot rods, customs, muscle cars, and other builds stretching down the coast.
Organized by Cruise At The Beach, the gathering welcomes everything from classic cars and street rods to exotics and modern performance vehicles. The common thread is not what you drive but the willingness to get out and enjoy the road. Organizers are also emphasizing respectful cruising, reminding participants to follow traffic laws and keep things safe for everyone involved. That approach feels very much in line with what the event is trying to preserve: the social side of cruising rather than the stereotypes that sometimes get attached to it. If you’re looking to catch their other seasonal celebration, Cruise At The Beach also hosts the Cruise At The Beach Trunk Or Treat and Cruise At The Beach Christmas Car And Bike Show, at the same Redondo Beach Marina venue.
The evening begins at the north exit parking area of the Redondo Beach Marina near Portofino Way, where participants will line up before heading out at 4:00 PM. From there, the cruise follows Harbor Drive into Hermosa Beach, continues toward the historic Green Store area near 22nd Street for a turnaround, then works its way back through Hermosa Beach and King Harbor before connecting to Catalina Avenue, The Esplanade, Torrance Beach, and eventually Miramar Park overlooking the Pacific. For anyone familiar with the South Bay, that route captures some of the area's most recognizable coastal stretches without feeling overly complicated.
A lot of modern events are built around where you park. This one is built around where you go. Between the ocean views, the coastal roads, and a lineup of enthusiasts who would rather drive than sit still, Cruise At The Beach feels like a reminder that some parts of car culture are best experienced from behind the wheel.
