SCCA RallyCross | 2026 | Ramona, CA

 San Diego SCCA RallyCross is sliding back into Ramona for 2026.

Happening at Ramona Fairgrounds in northeast San Diego County, this dirt-focused motorsports weekend puts drivers on a loose-surface course designed for car control, traction management, and quick decision-making. Expect a wide range of entries, from rally-bred AWD platforms and lifted crossovers to RWD coupes, FWD hatchbacks, and daily-driven sedans, plus everything in between that can pass tech. For spectators, it’s a great place to watch cars dig in, rotate through corners, and throw real dirt as drivers chase cleaner lines and faster runs.

Organized by San Diego SCCA, the format includes a practice-focused day and a competition day with additional practice sessions, with classing based on your car and modifications under SCCA National Solo Rules and San Diego SCCA supplementary regulations. New participants are welcomed, and a Novice Coordinator is typically available to help first-timers understand course procedures, grid flow, and what to expect on a work/run style event day. A few key notes from the organizers: overnight RV parking and camping are not allowed at the fairgrounds, drone use has strict requirements (inquire by email), and a 90 dBA noise limit is enforced.

Attendees should plan for a structured, safety-forward environment. Vehicles must pass inspection, approved helmets are required on course, and drivers are expected to complete their assigned work duties during run groups, this is part of how RallyCross runs smoothly. Closed-toe shoes are required, car numbers are needed on all days (with class letters required on competition day), and intoxication is strictly prohibited for participants and spectators. Passengers are allowed under specific requirements, including age/height minimums and minor waiver documentation when applicable.
